"All In Your Head” is a four-movement multimodal work that explores the trial-and-error mental health treatment system, the science of depression, and the inner landscapes of the brain, with visual art, dance, and live improvisation and composition.  The work challenges the idea that mental illness is “all in your head,” because that is exactly where we believe the focus should be in treatment: within the individual’s brain chemistry, circuitry, and holistic life experience – forming a patient’s unique reality that calls for unique treatment approaches.

“All in Your Head premiered on February 9th, 2024, at the University of Michigan Duderstadt Video Studio in Ann Arbor, MI, followed by a panel discussion moderated by NeuroArts founder Sasha Gusikhin and “All in Your Head” science advisor Lucas Tittle, including Dr. Guillaume Dumas, Dr. Xiaosi Gu, Dr. Paul Jenkins, Hannah Becker and Molly Jones.
